Classic Editor

Classic Editor is the older WordPress editing screen used before Gutenberg and the block editor became the default.

Many long-running WordPress websites still have pages built with Classic Editor. Converting those pages into Gutenberg blocks can make future editing easier, but the content and front-end appearance should be reviewed after conversion.
