Within the first hour, people were stopping to see how WPadmin.AI could use Claude or Codex to work on a WordPress website from the dashboard.

The live sessions went beyond a prepared product tour. Attendees brought real websites, questions, and ideas, which let us demonstrate how the WPadmin.AI plugin can fix problems and build site features in practical situations.

Tasks people brought to the demos

Revamping an attendee’s existing WordPress website.

Reviewing a website for SEO improvement opportunities.

Moving page content from one WordPress page builder to another.

Converting an existing Breakdance layout to Gutenberg blocks.

Using existing WordPress plugins while creating custom site functionality.

Many of these demonstrations were completed in under seven minutes. By the end of the first Sponsor Hall day, I had completed more than 40 live demonstrations for small-business owners, developers, plugin and theme makers, and agency teams.

What we learned from 70+ live demonstrations

One theme came up repeatedly: WordPress professionals want AI assistance that fits the tools they already use. Agency owners and developers were especially interested in using their existing AI subscriptions instead of managing separate API usage for every task.

People also wanted a simpler way to use tools such as Claude with WordPress. Our guide to connecting Claude to WordPress without a manual MCP setup explains that approach in more detail.

The staging safeguards were another important part of the conversations. Attendees could see that WPadmin.AI works on a test version of a site first, giving the owner an opportunity to review changes before approved work goes live.

On the second Sponsor Hall day, several attendees returned with new WordPress problems to test. We passed the 67th demonstration during the first half of the day and finished the event with more than 70 live demos. Those conversations included site owners, developers, agencies, plugin businesses, and hosting companies.

WPadmin.AI was listed among the Contributor-level sponsors of WordCamp US 2026.

The result of two busy days

WPadmin.AI was officially recognized among the event’s Contributor-level sponsors. For me, the most valuable result was not simply having our logo at the event. It was watching people bring real WordPress work to the booth and seeing their response when the requested changes took shape.

We recorded at least 50 signups during the two Sponsor Hall days. Just as importantly, the demonstrations gave us direct feedback about the problems site owners and WordPress professionals want to solve.

A memorable finish in Phoenix

The final evening ended with the WordCamp US social, where I caught up with old friends and continued several conversations from the booth. As the event wrapped up, phones across the venue received a dust-storm warning. Walking back to the hotel during my first Phoenix haboob was an unexpected ending to an already memorable week.

WordCamp US 2026 confirmed how much interest there is in practical AI assistance for WordPress. After more than 70 demonstrations and two days of constant conversations, I returned home with a clearer understanding of what site owners, developers, and agencies need from WPadmin.AI.

WordCamp US 2026 brought the WordPress community to the Phoenix Convention Center from August 16 through 19.
